CPT Jeffrey Froude at WWII memorial event in France
Capt. Jeffrey Froude, U.S. Army Medical Research and Materiel Command's 71B ESEP officer in France, attended a WWII memorial event in France. The event was to remember the operation that liberated the Rhone Valley and southern France. Additionally, the French placed a memorial plaque on the spot where one U.S. pilot lost his life protecting the area, 2nd Lt. William Clark.

Froude has been building bridges of friendship as well as establishing and strengthening important scientific collaborations during his two year tour in France. He'll be returning to the U.S. Army Medical Research Institute of Infectious Diseases later this year.
