USAMMCE Soldiers Earn International Sports Badges

U.S. Army Medical Materiel Center, Europe (USAMMCE) staff earned international sports badges at a sports competition Sept. 13-15, in Aachen, Germany.

Sgt. Anthony Coleman, Sgt. Jojo Ada and Spc. Dominique Williams participated in the competition where they each received the German and the Austrian Sports Badges, as well as the Netherland and Belgian Military Sports Badges. The German Reserves sponsored the competition called the Reservistenkameradschaft TSH/FSHT Aachen e.V.

To claim their prizes, competitors had to complete a set number of pushups and sit-ups within one minute. Competitors also participated in a standing long jump, rope climb, shot put toss, 3000-meter run in sports attire, an 800-meter run in full Army combat uniform and a 200-meter swim.
