USAMRMC Recognizes Quarterly Awardees

On March 28, the U.S. Army Medical Research and Materiel Command hosted its quarterly headquarters awards ceremony, recognizing the achievements and time in service of 34 individuals at the Fort Detrick Auditorium, Building 1520.

Maj. Gen. Barbara R. Holcomb, USAMRMC and Fort Detrick commanding general, kicked off the morning ceremony with a heartfelt "thank you" to all attendees for showing up to support and celebrate their colleagues, congratulating each awardee as they were recognized in front of a packed auditorium.

Holcomb led the quarterly town hall immediately following the awards ceremony; joined by Mr. Gregg Stevens, Army Medical Department Civilian Corps chief.

Stevens handed out certificates of his own following the town hall discussion, awarding 52 AMEDD Regimental Affiliation certificates. This honor affords AMEDD Soldiers and civilians formal affiliation with the U.S. Army Medical Department Regiment – a regiment whose tradition of caring is distinguished by more than 200 years of proud and faithful service to Soldiers, the U.S. Army and the United States of America.
