6th MLMC Team Returns from Deployment

Six soldiers from 6th MLMC Detachment 12 arrived home Oct. 10

Six soldiers from 6th Medical Logistics Management Center (MLMC) Detachment 12 arrived home Oct. 10 after a 9-month deployment in support of the U.S. Army Medical Materiel Center-Southwest Asia (USAMMC-SWA) mission. Returning soldiers included (pictured below with 6th MLMC Commander Col. Anthony R. Nesbitt): Lt. Col. Victor A. Suarez, Maj. Bradley D. Ladd, Capt. Chenyeh Huang, Master Sgt. Dajuan D. Lowery, Sgt. 1st Class Derrick J. Bostic, and Staff Sgt. Justin W. Vanhoy.

Six soldiers from 6th Medical Logistics Management Center (MLMC) Detachment 12 arrived home Oct. 10 after a 9-month deployment in support of U.S. Army Medical Materiel Center-Southwest Asia (USAMMC-SWA).

Maj. Gen. Joseph Caravalho Jr., Commander of USAMRMC and Fort Detrick, joined 6th MLMC Commander Col. Anthony R. Nesbitt to welcome the team. USAMRMC Command Sgt. Maj. Kevin B. Stuart and 6th MLMC Command Sgt. Maj. Jorge Rodriguez also represented command leadership who celebrated the return of the service members.

6th MLMC has provided detachment rotations since 2003 in order to provide medical logistics and maintenance support throughout the U.S. Central Command area of operation. During the deployment, Detachment 12 managed medical materiel distributions for SWA theaters.
