Command Sergeant Major Rogers started his military career at Fort Sill, OK. After serving for three years as a Pershing Missile Crewman, he attended Advanced Individual Training at Fort Sam Houston, TX and graduated as a Medical Specialist. Command Sergeant Major Rogers' former leadership positions include Senior Line Medic, Drill Sergeant, Senior Drill Sergeant, Platoon Sergeant, Detachment Sergeant, First Sergeant, Operations NCO, Division Surgeon SGM, Battalion Command Sergeant Major, Support Operations Sergeant Major, Troop Command Sergeant Major and Brigade Command Sergeant Major.

His assigned duty stations include Fort Sill, OK; Heilbronn, Germany; Fort Sam Houston, TX; Wackernheim, Germany, Fort Detrick, MD; Seoul, Korea; Fort Hood, Texas; and Fort Lewis, WA. He deployed with the 8th Infantry Division in support of Desert Storm, with both the 4th Infantry Division and the 62nd Medical Brigade in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom and with the 62nd Medical Brigade in support of Operation Enduring Freedom.

Command Sergeant Major Rogers' military education includes the Primary Leadership Development Course, Basic Noncommissioned Officer Course, Advanced Noncommissioned Officer Course, Drill Sergeant School, Master Fitness Trainer Course, System Administrator/Network Manager Security Course and the United States Army Sergeant's Major Course. He holds a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Information Systems and a Masters of Business Administration.
